There is a consolation concerning the plane crash in which the Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru, died on Friday.
This is the fact that his wife was not on board.
She is does alive contrary to some reports that indicated otherwise.
This was revealed by an aide to Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State.
Mohammed Dattijo, Chief of Staff to El-Rufai, said on his official social media handle while debunking a claim that Attahiru’s wife was involved in the accident.
“It is incorrect; the wife is alive. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” he tweeted.
