The Nigeria Police now has a new head as President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed as the Acting Inspector General of Police.
He is to immediately take over from Mohammed Adamu, whose tenure was extended in February.
Usman Baba is a Deputy Inspector-General of Police whose new appointment was on Tuesday announced in Abuja by the Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi.
