Singer, Timi Dakolo, reacting to the trending #sexForGrades scandal said that people saying “I give God the glory” should be asked which god they are serving.
According to him, the UNILAG senior lecturer and pastor, Dr Boniface Igbeneghu, was even praying and calling Jesus, shouting “welcome to the kingdom”.
Igbeneghu was indicted in a sexual harassment story/film released on Monday by BBC, making amorous advances at a ‘prospective student’ of the institution.
Sharing on his Instagram handle, Timi said: “From the BBC sex for grades documentary, Oga Pastor Boniface was even praying and calling Jesus, shouting welcome to the kingdom.
“Nowadays when someone is saying ‘I give God the Glory’ We need to ask ‘which God’?”
While many Nigerians are enraged about the tale, the Foursquare Gospel Church has asked him to step down from all ministerial assignments.
UNILAG has also suspended him.
Phenomenal.com.ng had reported that Timi’s wife, Bukola, accused the senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, of raping her as a teenager.
