R& B superstar, Rihanna, has surpassed icons such as Madonna, Celine Dion and Beyonce.
This is according to Forbes magazine, which puts her net worth at $600m – ahead Madonna’s ($570 million), Dion’s ($450 million), and Beyoncé’s ($400 million).
This come about two days after Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter officially became Hip Hop’s first billionaire.
But there are indications that Rihanna’s fortunes did not come from music alone.
Although hits such as “Umbrella,” “Rude Boy,” “We Found Love,” and “Work,” fetched her much, for instance, she is said to own up to 15 per cent share in $3bn Fenty Beauty cosmetics.
