Mohammed Morsi, former President of Egypt has on Monday died in court, Egyptian state television confirmed.
According to reports, Morsi fainted after a court session and died afterwards.
He had been serving a seven-year sentence for falsifying his candidacy application for the 2012 presidential race.
Morsi, who died at the age of 67, was Egypt’s first democratically elected president.
