A cat – real cat – is now £153m rich.
In naira, that will be some 470 by 135 million!
The cat has become so rich courtesy of its owner, legendary Chanel designer, Karl Lagerfeld, who willed the amount to the cat.
Lagerfeld died at the age of 85 on Tuesday, and guaranteed the lucky ‘animal’ £153m out of the $200m fortune he had.
According to online reports, the German designer, who was the creative director for Chanel and Fendi, became a devoted cat owner after the Choupette was given to him in 2012.
What will be very interesting, pundits would say, is what will happen to the cat’s wealth when it also leaves this sinful world.
