A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Maitama, Abuja has ordered that Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, be remanded in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission pending its ruling on his bail application on Wednesday.

Lawal was arraigned on a 10-count charge of fraud brought against him by the EFCC.

Babachir pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him this morning during his arraignment before Justice Jude Okeke, according to ‘The Nation’.
