A man who snatched a phone in Lagos today (Friday) met his waterloo when he jumped into the Lagoon in a bid to escape.
He snatched the phone from a passenger in traffic.
But his adventure reportedly turned into a huge drama as soon as he got into the laughing water.
Eyewitness accounts say he began to cry for help because he could not really swim.
He was said to have been rescued by some passengers.
