Buhari yari: Threatens ballot box snatchers with death

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that anybody who snatches ballot boxes in the approaching elections stands to lose his or her life.
He said in Abuja today, “I have briefed the law enforcement agencies. They have identified hot spots and flash points. They too should be prepared to move. They too must have made their arrangements as much as possible.
“Anybody that decides to snatch boxes or lead thugs to the polling units may be the last unlawful action he will take.
“ I have told the military and the police to be ruthless. We are not going to be blamed that we want to rug elections. I want Nigerians to be respected. Let them go to wherever they want across the parties. I am not afraid. I have gone to the 36 states and Abuja. I think I have gotten enough support across the country to look after me.
“I am going to warn anybody who thinks he has enough influence in his own locality to lead a body of thugs to snatch boxes or to disturb the voting system, he will do it at the expense of his own life.”
