The National Judical Council has begun to wield the big stick against the embattled Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen; and another justice of the Supreme Court sworn in as the acting Chief Justice, Tanko Mohammed.
At the NJC meeting held in Abuja today, it was gathered, it noted that both have a case to answer.
While Onnoghen is said to have been queried for not declaring his assets, Mohammed was reportedly queried for accepting to be sworn in without the authorization of the Council.
Both are to respond to the queries within seven days.
