Melaye relocated to SARS headquarters

The journey of Senator Dino Melaye through the arenas of law enforcement agencies continued on Sunday as the police moved him to the  Special Anti-Robbery Squa(SARS) Headquarters at Guzape in Abuja.

He was earlier moved from the police hospital to Department of Security Service medical centre, both in the Federal Capital City.

But the senator refused to enter the latter as he said the police must all him why they moved him from their own clinic.

According to the Force Spokesman, Ag. DCP Jimoh Moshood , the police medical team at their facility examined him and concluded that he was okay to stand trial but he insisted that he was not okay.

Moshood said, “He was later taken from DSS hospital on Friday but he refused to enter. He preferred to sleep outside. His insistence to sleep outside showed that he is healthy.

“So, he has been taken to detention at  IRT office and we have 14 days warrant. He will be taken to court within the 14 days period.”
