The wish of embattled senator, Dino Melaye, to remain in the hospital may have suffered a setback as he has been forcefully taken away by the police.
He had been in the police hospital since last week after slumping when he surrendered himself to them.
While the police had said he was well enough to face trial in Kogi, he insisted he was not.
But according to a report in ‘The Punch’, he was whisked out of the hospital this afternoon by some masked men believed to be policemen.
It is possible he was taken to Kogi, although there is no official statement from the police yet
