All eyes are on the Chief Justice of the Federation, Walter Onoghen, who is slated for trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal sitting in Abuja.

The non-declaration of asset case brought against him by the Code of Conduct Tribunal has generated a lot of controversy.

There is anxiety concerning whether or not Onoghen will appear in court as governors in his South-South base have asked him not to.

Lawyers are divided on whether or not the process adopted by the Code of Conduct Bureau is right, with many of them saying it was not.

As of 9: 17 am, ‘The Punch’ reported that Onoghen had not arrived htat the court, although a team of lawyers representing him, led by Chief Wole Olanipekun, had got there.
