The police in Lagos have arrested a commander of Boko Haram who is said to have participated in the killing of up to two hundred people.
The insurgent leader whose name is given as Umar was caught in Mowe, Ogun State near Lagos.
Umar was said to have been arrested alongside his sister who was treating him as he was said to have been wounded in a battle with the military before he ran down to Lagos.
According to the police, investigation continues on the matter.
