Reigning songstress, Simi, has excursed into her past and highlighted how the house where she was raised gave her music a good foundation.
According to her, her mum provided her the love, warmth and support she needed to flourish.
Speaking on a programme on ‘HipTV’, she said the house provided her a conducive environment to write songs, adding that it was in the home she grew up that she wrote the likes of ‘Love Don’t Care’ and ‘JAMB Question’.
She added, “Never despise your humble beginning.”
