Star artiste, Olamide, has defended his new song ‘Logo Benz’, in which he collaborates with Lil Kesh.

The portion in which the singers seem to be promoting ritual money – especially ‘If money no enter i go do blood money’ – has angered many Nigerians who have accordingly condemned the musicians.

But according to Olamide, they intend to create the awareness that the scourge exists, not to promote it.

He claims in a tweet, “Logo Benz is for the 3rd party to have a glimpse into the current state of youths in our society. (Runs girls x runs boys) “ I’m not sure if there’s anything like 2 much awareness, but pardon me if there is. It’s all over the news, it’s always been in movies, don’t box musicians.”
