All is now set for the International HSE Biennial Conference bringing together stakeholders in the Nigerian oil and gas industry to discuss health, safety and environmental issues and other challenges.
During the programme, the Department of Petroleum Resources, Ministry of Petroleum and others will present three vital documents at d 18th edition of the international HSE biennial conference and exhibition on oil and gas industry in Nigeria taking place in Lagos at Eko hotel and suites from 25th-26th November, 2018.
Chairman of the Committee, Dr Musa Zagi, who is a deputy director in DPR , said d three documents are going to drive effective operation in the Nigerian oil and gas. While disclosing the theme of the conference as “driving sustainability in the oil and gas industry through improved stakeholders environmental stewardship, he said, “During the three-day event, four plenary sessions will be held with various discussants who have been chosen from the industry based on their experiences while 36 technical papers will also be delivered during the technical sessions by authors who have also been chosen by the conference planning committee. We expect that the knowledge derived from the conference will further create an insight and approach for addressing environmental concerns as well as others. “
