An excellent strike by Ollie Watkins sealed URO ‘24 final ticket for England on Wednesday night as they beat Netherlands 2-1.
The goal came by the last minute of the second half, giving the opponents little or no opportunity to change the story.
It was a superb match for fans to watch with Xavi Simon’s strike giving Netherlands the lead in the early part of the game.
England pressed higher in Netherlands box and were awarded a penalty on a foul on Harry Kane by Denzel Dumfries.
Kane got it right, pushing the match to end 1-1 in the first half.
Netherlands exploited their height advantage in the second half but the only glorious moment came against them when Watkins hit their net with the un-replied goal.
England will meet Spain in the final battle on Sunday.
