Grammys winner, Burna Boy, has queried Ghanaian artiste Shatta Wale’s decision to allegedly pitch Ghana and Nigeria against each other.

Burna Boy said this was wrong as Africa must be united.

Referring to Wale’s recent argument that Nigeria is not reciprocating the love his country shows Nigerian musicians, Burna Boy said it was not proper to say so, saying music from other countries is too is being played in Ghana.

He tweeted: “Dem dey play South African, American and UK music also for Ghana but na Nigeria own be issue. Something fishy is smelling.

“Pushing this agenda of separation between our beautiful African nations is a grave disservice to the generations coming after us, and it goes against everything I stand for as a man and as an unapologetic pan africanist.

“Therefore, if Shatta or anyone has a personal problem with me, I’m still open to fight 1 on 1 and squash it after; the same way I’ve always been. Nobody will ruin the unity we continuously try to build for a stronger and better Africa.”

Ghanaian musician, Shatta Wale, is still not persuaded about his stand against his Nigerian counterparts.

While the controversy sparked by his suggesting that he has no respect for them is still on, he has tackled young wave maker, Rema, after he expressed the desire to have 10 Ghanaian girls around him.

Rema said he would soon be in Ghana and he wants to have the 10 around him.

Rema tweeted, “10 Ghana girls once I land tomorrow to ease my mind.” (sic)

This, on Wednesday shattered Wale’s adrenalin again as he sees it as an insult against his female compatriots.

He fired back in a tweet: “See total disrespect to our Ghanaian women. Don’t you have money to go for a massage? Come chop ‘cause alone get d*ck. Nonsense tweet. All in the name of I’m a star.

“Using Ghanaian ladies in such a comment is like you spiting on the dignity of Ghanaians.”

Before the response, Shatta Wale had earlier tweeted about Nigerian artistes, saying, “The table will soon turn. No man bigger than God! Ghana artiste go shine on the global market one day. Enjoy your time. But don’t come complaining when it’s our TIME!” (sic)

While Wizkid has sued for peace, saying Africa is one, some other celebrities have attacked Wale, including actor IK Ogbonna saying the Ghanaian singer was a victim of inferiority complex.

In a time where we should be growing together and helping each other through creative collaborations.

You should appreciate the Nigerian artist coz a win for any Nigerian artist is a win for Africa .

How do you promote unity with utterances like this?. This is very weak from you …

deal with ur complex issues and grow up.

As an artist I have featured in a few ghana movies and I have also worked with amazing , adorable Ghanaians here in Nigeria ….

Elijah Adebero

Controversial actor, Uche Maduagwu, has revisited the beating he received from his colleague actor Jim Iyke.

Uche says the beating he received from Iyke has reset his brains.

He was beaten by Jim Iyke months ago after using social media to lay some allegations against Iyke.

Uche, who made a post on his Instagram page, recalled this as he addressed the trending Shatta Wale issue of insulting Nigerian artistes.

He confessed that the slap brought his thinking faculties back to default settings.

He further said that Shatta Wale needs to receive the same beating he received from Jim Iyke months ago – although Phenomenal.com.ng does not subscribe to violence or the preaching of it.

He argued, “Dear ShattaWale, if Jim miracle hand can format my Medulla Chinchingata, the Lord will do am for you.

Brother, honestly, I do not need to listen to your #music the way you are fearfully made by God is enough lyrics to behold.

Just because you allegedly tried to #KISS Davido on lips in a club in #Ghana some time ago and he politely ran away e don turn wahala.

Must you have your way with all men?

Appreciate who you are if a Nigerian music icon refuses to KISS and romance you, find another man, do not transfer the aggression on every Nigerian singer that is doing better than you.

Nigerians #LOVE and RESPECT #Ghanaians and they do same so no use your ENVY #Raggae spoil our superiority BLUES #accra #instavid #kumasi #naija #facebook #share #instagram #abuja #nollywood #likeforlikes.”
