Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Mary Njoku, has urged skin care products sellers to be sincere with their products for the good of their customers.

“This is because your (sellers’) insincerity on any products can simply be categorised as ‘fraud,” Njoku, a renowned actress, gave the advice on her Instagram page on Friday.

“If sellers of such skin care products are sure of their effects, they should show their real faces, rather than being dishonest to their customers, not bearing in mind of the consequences.

“I just walked past a ‘premium glow’ cream seller/user and what I saw baffled me.

“We are all aware of the economic hardships in the country, but that is not a licence for any citizen to engage in fraud or cheating to make ends meet.

“People should learn to do genuine businesses that could bring in good profits and God’s blessing than incurring curses and condemnation, ” she advised.

The actress said that skin was very sensitive, therefore, sellers of skin products should learn to be honest with customers.

She, however, commended those genuine beauty products sellers out there, for their honesty and urged them to keep to their sincerity for the betterment of humanity.

According to her, “Anyone who sells skin care products and uses filters for his/her promo videos and images is being fraudulent.”

Njoku is a Nigerian actress, film producer and Director General of the award-winning Lagos-based film house, “ROK Studios”, in Nigeria, which was recently acquired by French TV giant, CANAL+.

She produced and starred in “Thy Will be Done”, “Husbands of Lagos,’ among others as well as starred and directed ‘’Single Ladies’’ and ‘’Festac Town’’.

The actress has contributed to the growth and development of the entertainment industry in many other numerous ways.

Actress, Mary Njoku, has called out women who praise their husbands after helping with house chores.

In many Nigerian homes, it’s common to see the wives doing the chores; so when the husband does it or part of it, the wife tends to get excited and thank the him.

But Njoku says a wife shouldn’t appreciate her husband when he helps with the chores at home or help with taking care of the kids:

My husband is so humble!

He helps me with the kids’ homework!

Actress Mary Remmy Njoku has given what she feels should be done in a marriage by a man.

Recently popular actor Yul Edochie showed his second wife who already has a son for him and this has made several Nigerians criticise him while some support him.

Amid Yul’s announcement of his achievement, Remmy has advised men to make their extra marriages open so that their wives can also have a second husband.

She argued that that if a man’s wife could not satisfy him sexually, he should seek his wife’s blessings and practise open marriage.

She also noted that if a woman wasn’t getting the satisfaction she needed in her marriage, with her husband’s blessing also she could have another husband adding that being with one man was tiring.

A terse post by actress Remmy Mary-Njoku on Thursday is causing anxiety among her loved ones.

She simply wrote on Instagram: “I just want the pain to stop.”

It is uncertain whether she is referring to physical pain or otherwise, but colleagues that include Mercy Aigbe have been responding to the cry:

Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Mary Njoku, says women are humans and not robots, while lamenting the way society views women, coupled with the fact that some are working class women.

The filmmaker took to her instagram handle @maryremmynjoku to made this statement, while reacting to a friend’s husband’s complain about his wife not helping him out, but rather staying at home with their four kids doing nothing.

Njoku, the CEO of ROK Studios, who described motherhood as a ‘difficult task’, said that women are not robots, who must be perfect in raising children and their careers.

The renowned actress, who is married to IROKO TV boss, Jason Njoku, added that women were expected to give 100 per cent to both home and work fronts, and lamented the way society treats women who are career builders and also mothers.

According to her, women are not robots who are expected to work like they do not have children but also expected to raise their children like they do not have jobs.

“Haba!! Body no be firewood. We have to either choose one or do a little of BOTH. And Oga has to do a little of BOTH too, to create a balance.

Another fan @ Osademe.lovina said “I am seriously sitting on this table right now, my kids aren’t up to 10 years of age…no maids I do everything you can think of in the house and while I try to rest a bit, they will still tell you that you’ve been home all day doing nothing.

Similarly, a fan @glam_mama19 @maryremmynjoku said he has no idea of the real issue at hand. He needs to be left for just one hour, while the mother hides and watches him.

Njoku is a Nigerian award-winning actress and film producer, she is known for producing and starring in the 2015 drama film “Thy Will Be Done”.

She is one of the most talented actresses in Nollywood and her stakes in the entertainment industry have made her a powerhouse and a film magnate.

Njoku started her acting career at the age of 17 years in 2004, when she made her debut in Nollywood starring in the film, “Home Sickness”.

Her popularity soared throughout the 2000s and 2010s as she established herself as one of the most talented actresses in Nollywood.

In 2011, she played Kaisha in the blockbuster film series ‘Blackberry Babes’, which received many accolades for portraying the changing face of the Nigerian youth and how technology and social networking affected them.
