On thick, waves-laundered sands, Call-Eves swallow your pocket and pants; Right and left of the beach, Prophetic pastors with their penitent clients Bathe sorcery and poverty into the smiling ocean They drink the Atlantic with its deified salt. From your glass house, If you throw a stone at the Bar Beach If it hits not a slut, It lands on the head of a riverine pastor.
