The man whose wife, Favour Igiebor, destroyed his passport on arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport has expressed surprise at what she said in a video after the shocking incident.
She painted a picture of the frustration she is allegedly going through in their marriage which, according to her, made her took the action that caused a stir at the airport.
But in response to his the video, the man said he chose to remain silent because he believed the issue could be resolved “as a family.”
“My wife has posted something this morning. I don’t want to say anything, but I will leave you to watch the video. It is on various social media sites. I have the full clips.
“She didn’t know that I had someone with my phone because my friend and I came down here to do some things. I will post the full clip. I never expected that she would come out and say what she said. These are some things that we can resolve as a family,” he said.
The Nigerian Immigration Service has invited the woman while details are still unfolding concerning the marital relationship and identity of the man.
