Veteran actress, Clarion Chukwura, has xrayed the Nigerian question in a prose-poem with which she marks her birthday.

The multi-talented act sees her story as being situated in the Nigerian story, just as she raises key questions about the country.

She notes in a post:
”I AM NIGERIA…with My Myriad of Culture And Ethnic Groups.. Sometimes, I look Confused To The Rest of The World In My Diversity, Outdated and Uncivilized with Customs Steeped in Tradition… Still, They Were Attracted To My Many Blessings.

SMH, I Used To Be Called The Giant Of Africa, The Land of Black Gold, Fighting and Winning Battles For My African Kin, Commanding Respect!

Now, on Wobbly Legs, I Say, I AM UNBREAKABLE! Cameroon has taken from Me, Ghana has lived in Me, Togo has worked in Me, Lebanon has traded in Me, Niger has overflooded Me, South African Liberty benefitted from Me, My Borders have been left open to Exploiters for as long as I can remember, My Values have sunk into the Pit; But, My Sons and Daughters Have Built The World. And, Though I Suffer Endlessly from Headaches And Stomach Pains inflicted by Poisonous Elements within Myself, I REMAIN STANDING!!!

Detectives of the Lagos State Police Command have commenced the questioning of Music Director and Producer, Clarence Peters, over the death of video vixen, Love Divine, also known as Picture Kodak, at his Omole Phase 1 residence, The Nation is reporting.

The highly influential newspaper said Peters, son of ace musician, Sir Shina Peters, and prominent Nollywood actress, Clarion Chukwura, is being detained at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba.

Picture Kodak was electrocuted in Peters’ house on April 29 as preparation were in top gear for the production of a video.

She was said to have been electrocuted when she received a call with her phone plugged into a power source charging.

She had just sent out he latest dance steps when the incident happened late on April 29.
