Founder of the Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has expressed his view on how his fellow cleric, Odumeje was treated by the Anambra taskforce demolishing the latter’s building.
The church, like others around the area in Onisha, was said to be obstructing drainage path.
While trying to arguably stop the taskforce, Odumeje was roundly beaten and pushed up and down like a criminal.
Pastor Johnson Suleman has spoken indirectly about the latest sex allegation against him.
An actress, Ifeoma has declared in a video that they had sex in Lagos, saying the actions held in Lagos.
She said she was confessing to save others from such a situation.
While many people have been attacking her, saying she did so as a business transaction as she said she was paid N500,000, the pastor spoke about the matter in his sermon on Sunday.
He, however, did not hit the nail on the head.
According to him, he was used to being negatively accused but he does not perturbed.
He said, “Why are you encouraging a man that is not discouraged? I’m upset since yesterday. I saw messages saying that I should not worry.
“Read my countenance, when you see me moody you can encourage me. Do I look like somebody who needs encouragement? I’m not discouraged at all and I’m not angry at those insulting me on social media.
“They are reacting to what they read. They are reacting to what they see and not what they know.
“You can’t know me and not like me, it’s impossible. Keep doing what you are doing and I’ll keep doing what I’m doing. I must do the work of he that sent me.”
Omege Fire Ministry pastor, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has declared that he has three private jets.
According to him, he recently bought the third – during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a result, he said, things had been so good for him in recent times that he would not want the pandemic to end.
He said in a video sermon:
“In COVID (pandemic) I bought a jet; the third one. I have three. I was praying for COVID-19 not to end because I was resting. While people were complaining, my wife asked, ‘Can life be this sweet?’ Am I talking to somebody here?”
“No stress. I read on the Internet that there’s a rumour going around that I have a machine that prints money. I like that rumour. They say, ‘he should be investigated. He has a machine that prints money.
“Somebody asked if it’s true and I said it is true. They said, ‘It’s risky o’. I said I didn’t know it’s risky because I already bought the machine. When you speak in tongues, you’re printing money.”
Pastor of the Omega Fire Ministry, Suleman, has warned whoever cares that they dare not touch Catholic Bishop, Mathew Kukah, over the latter’s recent controversial comments on national issues.
Kukah had, in his Christmas message, accused President Muhammadu Buhari of arrant nepotism, saying there would have been a coup if it was a non-Northern Muslim who was practising such.
This has attracted mixed reactions, with the government and some other interests challenging Kukah.
Like the Catholic, ECWA and some other organisations and individuals, Suleman said in a twisst that no one should hurt Kukah.
He said,
“Nothing must happen to Bishop Kukah, those who are planning it know what I am saying. Let’s not trigger what would snowball into more drama, leave unarmed critics and deal with armed terrorists. Don’t touch Bishop Kukah. When you touch God’s ministers, God would reply you.”
Apostle Johnson Suleman has said that his church will kill any trustees that the Federal Government may appoint for his church with prayer and fasting.
Reacting to the coming on stream of the Companies and Allied Matters Act, he said the government must be mad to have contemplated any possible move to control churches.
Saying it could not even successfully run its own federal ministries, Johnson said government had means of auditing church books without thinking of trusteeship.
He said:
People have been asking me to talk about the CAMA bill, the bill that says the government can just give the church a board of trustee, they can suspend some, and I said why will I talk over nonsense.
The government that will change the board of trustee in this Ministry, that government has not been born. This Ministry? Come now, come and do it.
”You said it’s CAMA law, it’s CAMA bill, what kind of stupid…….have you finished managing the Ministry of Agric? Have you finished managing the Ministry of Works? In this country, the Ministry of Work is not working, then you say it is church…come and try it. There are some things that don’t make sense.
Let us not rule out the fact that many pastors just started church because of money. So what you should talk about is transparency. If you say churches should submit their financial report, I will be the first. I will be so happy because by the time you discover that what they are making a month is 5 million Naira but what the man is spending on people is N60 million, wouldn’t you balance me?
It is not even an educated bill. CAMA bill is an illiteriate bill. You do not appoint a board of trustee who has not been around at all and has no stake to the company.
Lawan – Buhari- Gbajabiamila
If you wnat financial sincerity, you want financial transparency, then get auditors to audit them. Tell them to open your books. I don’t have a problem with that but to say you sit down and carry one Northern Muslim and appoint him to become a board of Trustee, you are mad.
”You didn’t contribute to the land. You didn’t contribute to the running of the Ministry, 16 years I have been running the ministry, paying salaries, supporting widows, supporting the poor..then they appoint you a board of trustee. You are mad. We will use fasting and prayers to kill you
A South African man has called President of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, a “fake apostle” over his comment xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in the country.
The preacher was criticised for saying that innocent Nigerians were being attacked by South Africans.
Replying to one of Suleman’s tweet, the man said: “Yeah yeah…for a Nigerian selling drugs is an innocent business, yeah right…fake apostle.”
Suleman fired back by blocking the man from having access to his tweets.
