Activist and politician, Aisha Yesufu, has expressed anger at the permutation that wants to see the Labour Party strong man, Peter Obi, be the running mate of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
The politicians are considering collaboration in 2027 to give the ruling All Progressives Congress a fight.
But Yesufu says they want to treat Obi the way they do women matters, as they always want them to be deputies.
In an IG declaration, she says she will work against any ticket that makes Obi a deputy (stet): ‘’He should run as Vice? I am giving you my word now. Do not say I did not say it. If Peter Obi is running with anyone as the Vice President or running mate to that person, me. Aisha Yesufu,in my little capacity, I will work against that ticket. Even if I do not support any other party, it is to work against that ticket. Because what is this? Why are wee always asking the best to be second? They have turned Peter Obi to the case of the way they treat women. They always put you in the deputy position, running mate. I have said it the other time..even if it is a goat that is running for President, you people will put Aisha Yesufu as Vice because as a woman, you see me as vice and nothing else”
