Italian League is very difficult, says Ronaldo as he bags Player of the Year

Acclaimed footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, has described the Italian League (Serie A) as a very difficult one.

According to him, he is very happy to play in Italy and make an impact.

He said this on Monday night when he was crowned the Serie A Player of the Year.

The award held in Milan came as a consolation for the star player having lost the Ballon d’Or to his keen rival, Lionel Messi.

“It’s an honor to hold this award,” Ronaldo said in Italian. “I thank my Juventus teammates.

“I’m very happy to play in Italy, it’s a very difficult league. Thanks to everyone for having voted for me. I want to do as well this year, too.”
