Lagos-based artiste, Jaywon, has revisited the disagreement between him and Grammys winner, Burna Boy.

He had fumed up after the latter claimed that no one helped him to get to the top.

Now, he says he has forgiven him – in a breath that shows he might harbour a feeling of some command over the bigger star.

The question, therefore, could be: is the ‘This year’ singer not being judgemental over the guy?

In a recent chat with Ctdamongblacks, Jaywon mentioned that he has let go of any hard feelings towards Burna Boy due to his success in music.

He noted that even though Burna Boy can be “a stubborn child,” he has contributed significantly to the Nigerian music industry.

He criticised rapper Odumodublvck for also saying that no one helped him in the music industry, pointing out that he hasn’t done enough to make such proud statements.

Jaywon said, “The original title of my new song ‘Time’ was ‘Letter To Burna Boy’.

I changed it when Odumodublvck started ranting. It was actually Burna that inspired the song.

“Burna Boy has done such for this industry without even knowing that he has done it. I know that Burna is not… You know when a child tries and you overlook his misbehaviour because he has tried and worked.

Burna Boy is that stubborn child, he misbehaves, but I forgave him.

“But Odumodublvck is not fit. He actually did a diss track for me and when I heard it, I was disappointed that it was all you could do as a rapper.”
