Daniel Dubois showed emphatic class on Saturday night as he overwhelmingly defeated Anthony Joshua in their all-British fight.
At the duel held at Wembley Stadium, upon which many – including Israel Adesanya – had staked their money on AJ – Dubois knocked him out in the fifth round.
Dubois, the IBF heavyweight champion, ruled the game from the onset, knocking Joshua down twice before landing a decisive right hand in the fifth round that sent Joshua face down on the canvas. Despite Joshua’s attempt to rise, the referee called an end to the fight, sealing Dubois’ victory and Joshua’s shocking defeat.
