Men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Office, on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 arrested another set of young men suspected to be Internet fraudsters otherwise called Yahoo boys.
They were arrested in the early hours of the day at Kolapo Isola Estate, in the Akobo, Ojurin of the Oyo State capital.
This came after a series of such arrests have been made by the EFCC in recent times.
The suspects’ names were given as Tella Adefemi Ibrahim, Awoniyi Adeseye Abiodun, Oladele Olawale Wasiu, Olabiti Afeez Ajibola, Akeredolu Oluwafemi Temidayo and Oyaremi Olalekan Olabode.
The EFCC said a series of intelligence gathered on them suggested that they were deeply involved in all manner of fraudulent activities, including love scam, through which they illegally obtain money from unsuspecting victims.
Saying the suspects would be charged to court soon, the commission said it added that it recovered five different models of exotic cars, laptops, mobile phones and several documents containing false pretences from the suspects
