Star singer, Simi, has raised serious questions on the value of the academic education people die to get in schools.
She seems to be wondering why people particularly struggle and pay hard to get tertiary education only to graduate and begin to pursue other things.
Interestingly, her argument in an IG post on Monday is coming the same day SS3 students started their WASSCE.
While many may thus reason with her, some may consider her postulation ill-timed.
Such people may think the claim may demoralise the candidates.
Simi’s position has, however, been taken by some other concerned people who particularly pity Nigeria for treating technical and vocational education with levity.
