Tola Odutola: Who is this pastor that just resigned from Redeemed Church?
Pastor Tola Odutola has been in the news since about two days ago when he announced his resignation from the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He is the Senior Pastor of Jesus House Baltimore.
The decision has been attracting mixed reactions especially as he said he was leaving because the church had failed to care for him after he had been with it for 30 years. To some people, it may be a legitimate and sensible claim, while, to others, it is a strange one based on the fact that his location in the US makes him enjoy a comparative advantage even as some recall that pastoring is supposed to be a heavenly business.

He is the Senior Pastor of Jesus House Baltimore. He was a Chartered Accountant @ Peat Marwick, KPMG and at DHL as Treasury Controller and Business Development Manager before being called into full time ministry.
Pastor Tola was the Provincial Pastor for North America Region 1 Province 2 (NAR 1 P-2) overseeing about 40 Churches in the Redeemed Christian Church of God North America (RCCGNA) including Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, Rhode Island, and Virginia.
Pastor Tola is the Chairman of Alpha Leadership Conference (ALC), an organisation charged with promoting and teaching leadership skills to all people of all nations. He consults, mentors and coaches pastors, speaks regularly at Leadership Conferences, Churches, Corporations, Minister’s Conferences, Seminars and other Leadership Development Opportunities.
He is the author of “I am better than this” and “Line Crossers”. He has a passion to challenge people to pursue and maximise their God-given potential.
