Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has resumed his preaching against those who fear coronavirus and those he believes are using it to persecute Christianity.

According to him, those who truly believe in Jesus Christ will not fear the pandemic.

He stated in a video sermon that you cannot believe in Jesus Christ and be afraid to touch a virus patient.

He also decried a situation some church leaders were accepting the rules being spelt out to be obeyed for churches to reopen.
Oyakhilome had, weeks ago, stirred up a controversy when he said the 5G technology would breed doom.

He said, “If you are a christian you should not be afraid of touching viruses. Jesus touched the leper. You are a minister and you are afraid of verses, your gospel has ended. Many of these pastors, we have to pray for them.”

On the guidelines, he added: “They are wicked guidelines. one of them says you should wear a glove to lay hand on people. This is crazy.”

While the likes of Pastor EA Adeboye and Tunde Baker have been compliant with and supportive of government’s moves against COVID-19, Oyakhilome and Bishop David Oyedepo have been critical of such.
