Oyo and Kano states can heave some sigh of relief based on the new results of coronavirus infections in Nigeria.
Both states, which have been in focus based on their recent rates of the pandemic, did not record any on Wednesday.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on its website, said, as as June 3, it recorded 348 new cases bringing the total number of infection in Nigeria now at 11,166.
According to the agency, 33 states accounts for 36 per cent of the total infection in the country.
The NCDC said that the new cases take the country’s total infections cases to 11166, out of which 3,329 have been treated and discharged with 7,522 active cases in the country.
A breakdown of the cases is as follows; Lagos-163, FCT-76, Ebonyi-23, Rivers-21, Delta-8, Nasarawa-8, Niger-8, Enugu-6, Bauchi-5, Edo-5, Ekiti-5, Ondo-5, Gombe-5, Benue-4, Ogun-2, Osun-1, Plateau-1, Kogi-1, Anambra-1.
