Thirty-eight days after he was taken in, the index case of Coronavirus Disease in Osun State has been discharged.
The index case, according to the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Rafiu Isamotu, was discharged on Saturday.
According to a statement by Isamotu on Saturday, the State also recorded another fatality as a patient died.
He equally announced that three health workers in the State who tested positive for COVID-19 have tested negative for the second time and are now free of the virus.
With this development, the total number of active COVID-19 cases in the State is now eight.
