Footballers with the MFM Football Club of Lagos must regard themselves as lucky players. Although they do not yet have the golden opportunity to go out to play with the international giants as we have in London or Madrid, they are not doing badly in terms of welfare.

Phenomenal.com.ng learnt that their pays are comparable with the best among all club sides in Nigeria.

Even if one could not readily ascertain that, the quality of the club’s buses attest to comfort.

No wonder, all eyes were on them on Tuesday afternoon as they were conveyed in two fine buses that were beautifully branded.

No noise, no smoke as the buses glided towards Lagos from Ibadan.

Many people had the opportunity to behold the rides and the players inside when the buses ran into a traffic bottleneck created by security operatives at a checkpoint in the OPIC area of the road.

They were donated to the by the founder of the club, Pastor D. K. Olukoya, founder of the Mountain of Fire  and Miracle Church, when they won the Federation Cup in 2015.

But one thing: Some of the players proved that man shall not live by footballing alone as they bought plantain chips from among the many hawkers taking advantage of the traffic.
