The life of an Awka, Anambra State-based make-up artist, Oluchukwu Ezeobi, has been cut short by some unknown gunmen.
The 23-year-old was stabbed to in the early hours of February 12, with reports saying two boys accosted and ordered her to hand over her handset to them but she resisted.
It was gathered that during their struggle over the handset, “Oluchukwu was stabbed several times, and was left to struggle in the pool of her blood; while the assailants dispossessed her of her handset and ran away.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, of the state, SP Haruna Mohammed, said the command was conducting investigation into the incident with a view to apprehending perpetrators and bringing them to justice.
