Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has said that he had close meetings with two people later discovered to have coronavirus.
As a result, Fayemi noted, he had gone on self isolation.
He tweeted:
”I just took a CoviD 19 test, having gone into self isolation since yesterday evening. I’m asymptomatic and feel well, but I was in meetings with two people who had since tested positive. I look forward to an all clear and have encouraged all my colleagues to take the test.”
Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari; and Fayemi’s counterp[art in Ogun State, Bala Mohammed, have tested positive.
