Former Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, has reacted to a photo in which he is seen weeping.
The photo started circulating on Wednesday after he was removed from office by the Supreme Court, for Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress.
The Peoples Democratic Party’s man has however said although he is the one truly crying, it is an older picture that has got nothing to do with the judgement.
He said it was earlier taken in December during a burial programme.
He noted in a statement signed by his aide, AIC Akwarandu: “The picture circulating online does not in any way represent the mood of the Former Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, while the Supreme Court Judgment was announced.
The pictures was taken on Friday, 20th Of December, 2019, when the then Governor received the body of His departed Commissioner for Environment, Late Hon. Tony Okere, at the Council Chambers.”
