It was double victory for a woman, Suwaiba Muhammad, on Tuesday as a Shari’a Court l dissolved her two-year-old union with one Haruna Uzairu and also gave her permission to remarry.
The Judge Mallam Muhammad Adamu-Shehu also said the complainant could remarry immediately if she finds a suitor.
Earlier, Muhammad filed a suit against her husband praying court to confirm a divorce issued by the defendant six months ago.
She noted that the defendant had not given her a written document stating the divorce.
On his part,the defendant did not deny the claim saying what the complainant had said was true.
