Sam Adeyemi on Olukoya, others criticising Christmas date: ‘Sense will fall on us one day’

Daystar Pastor, Sam Adeyemi, has responded to criticism of choosing December 25 as Christmas day, suggesting the birthday of Jesus Christ.
As far as he is concerned it is a needless argument as he believes there are other pressing needs that ought to agitate the minds of Nigerians – including bad power supply.
MFM Pastor, D.K. Olukoya, and other celebrities/critics such as Reno Ookri and Daddy Freeze had expressed diverse views on it, with Olukoya saying Christmas was unblical since no one knows the actual date of Jesus’ birth.
Adeyemi noted, ‘ “The countries from where they brought Christianity to Nigeria celebrated Christmas with uninterrupted power supply. Some of us were quarreling over whether eating Christmas chicken will make us go to heaven or not. Sense will “fall on us” one day. I pray it won’t be long.”
