Sunmi Smart-Cole reveals real name as he bags Wole Soyinka Centre Lifetime Award

Veteran photographer, Sunmi Smart-Cole, was so excited on Monday evening that he revealed his full name.
The 78-year-old bagged the Lifetime Award at the Role Soyinka Investigative Journalism Award held in Lagos, and this made him plunged into winding reminiscences.
Indeed, he had to be persuaded to save further details till another time as the programme held at the NECA House, Alausa, Ikeja, could not accommodate all.
Part of what he, however, noted was is that his full name is Sunmisola (Gently Push me into Honour), shortened as Sunmi.
The man who was also honored by the association of Nigerian photographers a few weeks back said the Nobel laureate, Prof. Role Soyinka, had been good to him, noting that he (Soyinka) wrote forewords to two of his books.
