OAU lecturer found dead in his office

Authorities and the family of a lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo university, Ile-Ife, are still trying to unravel the circumstances that led to the death as he was found lifeless in his office Saturday afternoon.
The lecturer, Dr Nicholas Igbokwe, lectured in the Physical Health Education Department.
Although he was rushed to the hospital when the tragedy was discovered, he was certified dead by doctors.
Speaking on the development, the varsity’s PRO, Abiodun Olanrewaju, said, “I have not been fully briefed regarding the circumstances surrounding his death. From the information available to me, he was rushed to OAU health centre, but he died before getting to the facility.”
