Senator Dino Melaye has stepped up his political music calling by releasing another song two days after he lost the rerun election in Kofi State.
He has however moved away from the political satire genre, as the new song that can be entitled ‘Kiye Si’ (Watch it) is in the gospel realm.
In the number rendered in Yoruba, which will remind many fans of Evangelist Bola Are of her exploits, Melaye notes that it is only human beings that can say that one cannot make it.
He thus insists that God will not allow them once the person concerned watches it and remains optimistic and dogged:
Aye lo so pe oo le nilaari
Eniyan lo so pe aye re o le ni tuumo
Kiye si i, Olorun ko so bee
In the video posted on his IG page, the politician still manages to dance and laugh as he sings.
elaye posted the video of him dancing as he sang hours after he reacted to the outcome of the election. The former senator sang in Yoruba expressing optimism that God is not man and does not reason the way human beings would. He noted that even when the world says one’s life has no meaning or the prophets claim ones life is meaningless, their thoughts or predictions are not same as what God holds.
