About a week after Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, professed that American business giant, Bill Gates, opened his eyes to sustained charity work in Nigeria, Gates too has extolled his virtues.
According to him, Dangote’s business history, rise and philanthropy are similar to his.
He thus noted that he was pleased to partner him on foundation work in Nigeria.
Gates said in an IG post:
“Aliko Dangote and I have a lot in common. We both started successful businesses in the late 1970s, and for our second act in life, we both chose to start foundations. Melinda and I are lucky to have him as a partner (and friend!) in our work. Our foundations are working together to improve malnutrition in Nigeria, which could have an impact on all of Africa.’
Bill Gates reciprocates Dangote’s gesture, endorses his charity style
