Pope escapes elevator seizure

“I have to apologise for being late. I was trapped in a lift for 25 minutes, there was a power outage but then the firemen came.”
This is the testimony of Ppe Francis as he apologized to crowds gathered in St. Peter’s Square, Vatican City on Sunday, after showing up late for his weekly address.
Reports say a a “drop in tension” caused the elevator to block. He said that Holy See firefighters rescued him and asked the people in the square to applaud them.
