Police speak on shutting down of Bobrisky’s birthday party venue

Popular crossdresser, Bobrisky, had a sour 28th birthday in Lagos on Saturday as the police sealed off the venue he wanted to ue.
the Lekki, Lagos venue was shut down by men of the state police command, forcing many of his guests to return home in frustration.
Speaking on the matter, Bala Elkana, police spokesperson, confirmed the shutdown but said details were not yet available.
He, however, refuted reports that Bobrisky was arrested.
Meanwhile, the ‘artist’, who had been engaged in a battle with the Director General of the National Council of Arts and Culture, Chief Segun Runsewe, has reacted to the development.
Runsewe had insisted he must stop dressing like a women, saying he was a bad influence to young people.
Bobrisky has, however, calling the DG’s bluff, noting that he would rather deal with people bigger than Runsewe in government.
Commenting on IG on the disruption of the party, Bobrisky expressed apology to her guests, especially those, he said, came from outside Nigeria.
But he expressed the preparedness to remain himself, saying, “I am as hard as a rock.”
