South African rapper and songwriter, Cassper Nyovest, has praised the Nigerian music industry and said he wished he was from the country.
According to Cassper, Nigerians promote and celebrate their artists and culture no matter where they are in the world.
Sharing on twitter, he also respected the unity within the country’s music industry.
The 28-year-old hip hop star whose real name is Refiloe Maele Phoolo, was replying to a tweet when he made the comment.
“Won’t even lie. I wish i was from Nigeria too. The love they have for thier own artists, the way they celebrate their culture, 90% local content on radio and Tv, there way they celebrate their music no matter where they are in the world, the unity within thier industry. A DREAM!”, he said.
