I’m not Buhari’s niece – Amina Zakari

A commissioner of the Independent Electoral Commission, Mrs. Amina Zakari, has stated that she is not a blood relation of President Mohammadu Buhari.
She said this to clear the air on the controversy that greeted her appointment as the head of the collation committee in the coming election.
The opposition had kicked against this as it said she was a niece to President Mohammadu Buhari.
She, however, told the ‘BBC’ today that she had no blood connection to the President.
She said, “I am not his niece. I am not his cousin. I will continue doing my work. I will continue serving my country to the best of my ability.”
She asked the PDP to produce evidence to back up their allegation, adding that the collation committee was not saddled with collation but preparing venue for the exercise.
