President Muhammadu Buhari has doused the speculation that he might drop his former Minister, Babajide Raji Fashola, for his successor as governor in Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode.
The ministerial list he just released shows that Fashola is still his choice.
Ambode, who dream to govern Lagos twice was cut short by Lagos APC’s powerful tool, is currently ‘jobless’ and has been very close to Buhari.
Interestingly, Lagos’ second nominee on the list, Senator Olorunmbe Mamora, is believed to be Fashola’s political ally.
There are, however, indications that something juicy is still in the pipeline.
