A former coach of the Supreme Eagles, Samson Siasia, has begged those who kidnapped his mother to release her as he, according to him, does not have the money they are demanding.
He said he had been jobless for the past three years, which made it impossible for him to pay the ransom.
The kidnappers have demanded N70m.
The 76-year-old woman, Madam Beauty Ogere was kidnapped alongside one Florence Donana and her 17-year-old daughte.
They were abducted on July 15th at their apartments in their Odoni community, Sagbama Local Government Area, by unknown gunmen.Siasia is quoted as saying in a telephone interview:
“The kidnappers I just want to say please, I beg you. The woman is old please release her. I don’t have a job in the last three years. She is an old woman, with this cold, she may not survive it.I dont have that kind of money they are asking for.”
